"Da Vinci"

The da Vinci project was a contender from Ontario for the XPrize. The development team was led by Brian Feeney, who founded the project in 1996. The project was supposed to have its first launch on October 2, 2004 at Kindersley, Saskatchewan, three days after Tier One was scheduled to launch SpaceShipOne for the first time. However, on September 23^rd, 2004 the da Vinci team reported that they would not be ready in time.
